turnkey solution for major regeneration project
Originally constructed in the 1960's Tavy Bridge is an estate consisting of residential units, health centre, library, retail units and small community facilities, all now in need of modernisation. The area is designated a strategic regeneration area for the Thames Gateway and is of significant importance to the local community.
In a strategic partnership with Bellway Homes and Gallions Housing Association, Anderson Design & Build will be responsible for the development from the ground up; designing, procuring, and delivering the whole build.
The master plan calls for the delivery of a high quality sustainable community consisting of 923 housing units (555 for open sale) and the re-provision of all other facilities to a high quality contemporary design.
Currently under construction in phase 1, the plan will be implemented in 6 phases over a period of 9 years with an emphasis on creating a development that is sustainable socially, environmentally and economically.
As specialists in urban regeneration we are well positioned to address many of the technical challenges posed by the Tavy Bridge site, not least the minimisation of disruption over a lengthy build period.
